As Halloween approaches, your local policing team would like to share a few important safety tips to help keep children and families safe: For Parents & Guardians ensure children are accompanied by a responsible adult. Use well-lit routes and avoid shortcuts through alleys or parks.Check costumes are visible in the dark (reflective tape can help). Remind children not to enter strangers’ homes.
If you’re welcoming trick-or-treaters, keep pathways clear and well-lit. Consider displaying a “No Trick-or-Treat” sign if you prefer not to take part. Be respectful of neighbours, especially the elderly and vulnerable. Report any anti-social behaviour to GMP via 101 or online.
Let’s make Halloween safe and enjoyable for everyone in Wardleworth.
 Stay safe,
